Dr. Jerome Agrest founded our practice in 1958 at the Glen Morton Medical Center in Morton Grove, IL and moved the business to Glenview in 1987. Under his guidance, Carillon Vision Care has seen more than 42 thousand unique patients. He has many 4th generation patients that are still under our care today!
Dr. Agrest sold his practice to Dr. Neukirch in 2011. He continued to see patients on a part-time basis until formally retiring in early 2018 coinciding with Carillon’s 60th Anniversary. He still may be seen coming and going from the practice time to time as he will forever be a part of our office family.
Phyllis | Optician/Office Manager
Phyllis is our Office Manager, a Certified Optician, Fellow of the American Board of Opticianry, and a graduate of the University of Illinois at Chicago. More importantly, she has been with Carillon Vision Care over 25 years, and we are grateful to have her! Carillon’s patients unanimously agree that Phyllis has a knack for helping each patient find his or her perfect pair of specs. She also works hard to keep up with all the latest in optical technology by regularly attending continuing education and earning new certifications in her field. She looks forward to serving all of our patients for years to come.
Noelle joined us in mid-2018 and brings along decades worth of optical experience. Noelle provides the best customer service she can, whether its finding that perfect pair of eyeglasses or helping train a first time contact lens wearer.
Amanda has been a welcome addition to Carillon since May 2018. She is an avid movie watcher and enjoys cooking/trying out new recipes and exercising in her free time.
Anna | Front Desk
Anna initially began working for Carillon 15 years ago as a college student! You can find her at the front desk on Saturdays only, because during the week, Anna is busy teaching music, choir, and band to Elementary students at a local charter school in Chicago.
Jackie joined our team after years of serving customers in the restaurant industry. She enjoys trying different foods, traveling to new places, and playing softball.
Lucy is a friendly face behind the front desk of Carillon. Lucy has been a part of the Carillon team for over 18 years, and we are thrilled to have her.
Leo is our newest furry team-member. Leo is young Golden Retriever puppy rescued from China. He takes his employment duties very seriously and enjoys greeting patients in between naps and lunchtime. He completed his Assisted Animal Therapy Certification in February 2020.
Bowser was our 14 year old golden retriever who often accompanied Lincoln to the office. Although retired from his duties as a Therapy Dog at nursing homes, Bowser spent many afternoons lounging and greeting patients upon special request. His white face and sweet demeanor are dearly missed both at home and at Carillon.
